| We fabricate air reservoir kits for Fox Float shocks. The reservoir kits are stainless steel chambers connected to the stock Fox Float shocks. As the shock compresses, the air pressure in the stock shock increases at a high rate. This is great for big bump performance, but it makes for a harsh ride when cruising. By adding air volume to the chamber, the rate at which the pressure increases is reduced. But you still maintain big bump performance. So if you like to run the pressure high for the big, big bumps, you will gain cruising performance over the stutter bumps. And you will gain some cornering performance. If you like to run the shocks at a lower pressure for cruising, and for cornering ... you will find that you can run the pressure higher to gain big bump performance, without loosing any cruising and cornering performance. These air reservoirs are connected to the stock shock via a stainless steel braided hose. Therefore, the reservoir can be mounted in a safe location, away from potential damage that can happen while boondocking. All you need to do is find a place to mount the reservoirs. Then remove the stock fill valve from the stock shocks. Then connect the hose to the shocks, and fill the shocks with air using the new fill valve location that we provide you. Fox Float Air Reservoir Kit includes the following components: (2) stainless steel air chambers (2) 18" long stainless steel braided hoses (2) 2.5" hose clamps to mount the reservoirs where you see fit all necessary fittings |
